G.Q. Chen is a professor of systems ecology and sustainability science at Peking University, China and a Distinguished Adjunct Professor at King Abudulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. With distinguished contributions as marked by around 300 publications in prestigious journals, Prof. Chen has won a series of awards and honors, including Thomson Reuters Highly Cited Researchers Award, Thomson Reuters China Citation Laureate. He served as editor, associate editor or advisory member for 50 international journals.

Xing Wang(Biography)
Dr. Xing Wang has obtained his PhD from New York University working on the DNA nanomaterials and the applications in biology. He then conducted his postdoctoral studies at Princeton University working on functions of noncoding RNAs. Currently, Dr. Wang is an Assistant Professor of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology & the Center for Biotechnology and Interdisciplinary Studies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). He is the director of Nucleic Acid Programming (NAP) Lab at RPI. He has published more than 25 papers in top-tier journals such as Cell, PNAS, JACS, and Nano Lett.

Sohail Murad(Biography)
Dr. Sohail Murad is Professor and Department Chair of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Prior to this he was Head of Chemical Engineering at University of Illinois at Chicago, where he joined the faculty in 1979 after receiving a PhD from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY. He spent 1981-82 at Exxon Research and Engineering Company at Florham Park, New Jersey, while on a leave of absence from the university. He was an ARO Research Fellow at the Ballistics Research Laboratory in 1985. He is the author of over 135 archival research publications and book chapters. He is/has been a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Computer Applications in Engineering Education, Scientific Journals International and Research Letters in Chemical Engineering. He is an elected fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and member of several other professional societies. He holds honorary faculty positions at Nanjing University (China), Petra University (Jordan), and University of Karachi (Pakistan). He has given many keynote talks at national and international symposia, and has served on panels of the National Science Foundation, Department of Energy, Department of Defense, Environmental Protection Agency, etc.

Umit S. Ozkan (Biography)
Umit S. Ozkan is a Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering at The Ohio State University. She received her Ph.D from Iowa State University in 1984 and joined the faculty of The Ohio State University in 1985. Between 2000 and 2005, she also served as the Associate Dean for Research in the College of Engineering. She has edited five books, has written over 200 refereed publications and book chapters, given over 300 conference presentations and over 125 invited lectures. She has six patents. Professor Ozkan has held and continues to hold many leadership positions in several professional organizations. She is on the Editorial Boards of Catalysis Today, Journal of Molecular Catalysis, Catalysis Letters, Topics in Catalysis, Applied Catalysis B, Catalysis Reviews and ACS Catalysis. She is a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and American Chemical Society. Professor Ozkan is the recipient of many honors and awards among which are ACS Henry H. Storch Award (2017), ACS Energy and Fuels Distinguished Researcher Award (2012), John van Geuns Lectureship Award at the Van't Hoff Institute at the University of Amsterdam (2010). In December 2013, a special volume of Topics in Catalysis was published in her honor. In her research group, Dr. Ozkan has advised and mentored over 100 graduate students, post-doctoral researchers and honors students.
